The new co-op trailer for Styx: Shards of Darkness shows two goblins working together for greater assassination synergy. Keeping to the shadows and making jokes as they stealthily move in for the next kill, both players are able to work together to remove any evidence they were even there.
The new video really displays how much better the sequel looks, and the new co-op will let you join or drop out of a friend’s game at will. They also show the ability to move or dissolve bodies after a kill, using distraction while another player sneaks behind the target, and carefully coordinating attacks to take out two guards at the same time. There is even a clever way to remove a cave troll in co-op.
We can look forward to more goblin one-liners when Styx: Shards of Darkness releases March 14th.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
