Winners of Pure PlayStation’s ‘Best Named Development Studio’ award, Fatshark, has announced that they are working on a sequel to Vermintide: End Times – Vermintide. It is named Warhammer: Vermintide 2, and thus wins our award for ‘Most Originally Named Game’.
At the moment details are sketchy, though the Swedish studio will be fleshing out the bones via a livestream on October 17th at 10am PST. We do however have the teaser trailer above to keep us from losing our minds over the next seven weeks.
“On October 23, 2015 we introduced the world to Warhammer: Vermintide, and since then it has sold over 1.5 million units,” Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark, said. “Now it’s time to introduce the upcoming sequel – Warhammer: Vermintide 2.”

Please note: the aforementioned awards bring with them zero reward, either financially or otherwise. Maybe tell your mum, she’ll be proud, but restrain from including them on your CV.
