For the first few months of the PSVR’s life, decent shooters were very few and far between, and it wasn’t until Farpoint released alongside the PSVR Aim controller until the goods started to be delivered.
There’s already a few tactical first-person shooters available, but more is better, right? Another such game that’s setting its sights on PSVR is Zero Caliber by XREAL Games. The studio previously announced that the game would be coming to PCVR headsets via Steam, but we now know that the game will be coming to PSVR too.
The developer hasn’t given any timeframe for the PSVR release, though the PC version is due out in November. So far the developer has only confirmed that work has begun on development of Zero Caliber for PSVR, and yes, it will support the PSVR Aim controller. It’d be a bit daft if it didn’t, really.
If I was to hazard a guess, I’d say we won’t be seeing Zero Caliber on PSVR this side of Christmas, but I would love to be wrong. If you want to know how the game looks in action there’s a gameplay trailer embedded up above. It’s from the PC version, naturally, so don’t expect it to look quite so clean and clear on PSVR, but it’s still worth a look if you’re interested.
