Sony has announced today via a press release that PlayStation players will be able to play online games without an active PS Plus membership.
The event, which runs from 10AM GMT on 15th November to 10AM GMT on 20th November, will let non-PS Plus subscribers go online and play multiplayer games without having to plonk down the cash on a subscription. A taster, if you will.
Rather than it just be a weekend, as most trials tend to be these days, Sony is running the promo for a full five days. If you’re not a PS Plus subscriber, We highly recommend checking out the free event, even if it’s just to mop up a few online-only trophies in your favourite games.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
