Who wouldn’t love a new Hitman game? Developer and IP owner IO Interactive may have something to share sooner rather than later as a game called Hitman: Sniper Assassin has been spotted on various rating boards.
The Australian ratings board has rated the game, as well as the Korean rating authority, which makes us believe we’ll be seeing Agent 47’s bald head glistening under the spotlights of E3 this June. While IO Interactive has yet to make any formal announcement, the cat is already out of the bag, so to speak.
However, don’t get too excited: This is probably not a full-on Hitman experience, but more likely to be something along the lines of Hitman: Sniper Challenge that released on PS3 all those years ago. It could also just be a mobile game, so we can’t rule it out. Still, any Hitman is better than no Hitman, and we’ll take everything we can get.
