Focus Home Interactive announced that the medieval survival horror, A Plague Tale: Innocence, will be getting a free next-gen upgrade on the 6th of July.
With the recent E3 2021 hype which showcased A Plague Tale: Requiem, Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive went on to announce that the award-winning start of the franchise will be receiving an upgrade on next-gen consoles, as well as an all-new release to the Nintendo Switch.
A Plague Tale: Innocence will have 4K Ultra HD graphics on both the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as well as 60FPS, and 3D Audio Support for all next-gen consoles to give this originally released 2019 story a new lick of paint.
Focus Home Interactive has also released a trailer showcasing the brand spanking new lighting and shadows that are sure to make exploring the rat-infested towns of France finger-numbing.
Those that already own the game are in for a treat as the enhanced edition will be completely free on launch. Sounds like a great idea to give it a go as we wait for A Plague Tale: Requiem to release next year.
