Act out Your Weird Dream of Controlling Self-Delivering Packages in Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure

So you found yourself incredibly jealous last September when Steam received a game all about self-delivering mail. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Everyone wants to work for package delivery companies because it’s awesome and the fact that the boxes are self-deliverable just makes it much cooler. (In case you couldn’t tell, this is a 90’s-inspired platformer.) Fret not, for Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure is coming on over to the PlayStation 4 sometime in the Summer.

You’ll be able to explore huge worlds with your cardboard creation, Newbie, as you complete challenges, gain collectibles, and have boxy boss battles. There’s over 40,000 customization options because sentient cardboard can’t be without them digs. You’ll also be able to compete in local multiplayer races, battles, and challenges with up to four friends.

Prospect Games’ Managing Director, Andrew Bennison commented on the partnership, “We’re excited to be working with Merge Games, their commitment to helping local talent and years of publishing experience will take Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure to the next level.”

Merge Games’ Co-owner and Managing Director, Luke Keighran added, “Prospect Games is yet another top-quality developer right on our door step. I’m super excited to be working with Andrew and the team at Prospect Games. Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure is a fantastic title that will appear to gamers of all ages.

Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure is being developed by Prospect Games and published by Merge Games. It released on Steam last September to near universal acclaim. Strangely the press release only came with a Nintendo Switch and Xbox One trailer which can be found on Youtube. Let us know what fantasies you’ve had about your local post office or how mail could deliver itself. Nothing is too embarrassing and we promise not to judge.
