Activision Confirms More Remasters and Remakes Coming in 2021

Activision has confirmed that it will be bringing several blasts from the past to players this year, as said by Activision Blizzard CFO Dennis Durkin during the publisher’s latest earnings call with investors.

There’s no word on what those games will be or when they will release, with Durkin stating that Activision Blizzard “will continue to tap into our portfolio of beloved IP to bring several remastered and reimagined experience to our players,” before going on to say that the games in question will be announced close to their release.

Activision has a deep well of goodies to pluck from, and with recent remakes like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 gaining massive support from fans, it’s easy to see why the publisher would look through its back catalogue for future releases.

Again, there is no hint as to what those remastered or reimagined games could be, but you can bet your back teeth Call of Duty will feature somewhere in that lineup.
