All Hands On Deck for the Latest Spacebase Startopia Trailer, a Beginner’s Guide to Space Station Management

There’s a new trailer out today for Spacebase Startopia, a new space station management sim from Kalypso Media and Realmforge Studios.

Kalypso Media and Realmforge Studios have released a new trailer today for Spacebase Startopia, but rather than the usual moody cinematics and pulsing anthems cheering you on to pre-order for a digital doo-dad, this one is basically a digital brochure for your future holiday in space. Well, you’re not going anywhere else anytime soon, are you?

The new trailer serves as an introduction for players by setting out the lay of the land, or space station, rather.

It’s a decent way to kill a couple of minutes, so if you need to get clued-up on what Spacebase Startopia is all about, give the video below a little peek before the game releases on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on March 26th.

About Spacebase Startopia:

Spacebase Startopia features an exciting mix of economic simulation and construction strategy, coupled with classic RTS skirmishes, and a whole heap of humour.

As the commander of Spacebase Startopia, you’ll create the most impressive trade and tourism operation that infinite space has ever seen in a comprehensive single-player mode.

The sub-deck, the fun deck and the bio-deck require both strong leadership and talented organization. But you’re not alone out there… keep hostile competing leaders in check with acts of economic sabotage or attacks with Mech units.

And as if the maintenance of three bustling decks, entertaining eight different alien races, and the defense against enemy invaders weren’t enough, the dynamic narrator AI “VAL” doesn’t mince her words and will provide you with sharp-witted commentary as you try to balance your cosmic responsibilities.

In addition to the challenging single-player campaign and the varied battle mode, there is also a competitive, and co-op, multiplayer mode for up to four players.
