You might have seen some reviews going around today for Rovio and Revolution Games’ Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs, a VR version of the popular Angry Birds mobile game. What you won’t have seen are any reviews for the PSVR version – that’s because it hasn’t been released for PSVR, not year anyway.
In fact, it wasn’t really clear if the game would be coming to PSVR at all. The press release for the game’s announcement a just before Christmas only mentioned that it would be coming to major VR headsets without naming any names.
I’m happy to tell you, then, that Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs will be releasing on PSVR, as confirmed by the developers. When asked if the game was on the way to PSVR, Revolution Games confirmed the game would be coming to Sony’s headset in the near future, however, there is no release date as of yet.
If you’re interested in how Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs plays, there’s a brand new trailer embedded up at the top of this post.
