We’ve known what April 2020’s PS Plus games are for a while now thanks to an earlier leak, but it’s still nice to get confirmation from Sony.
The platform holder has announced that April 2020’s PS Plus lineup is indeed Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and Codemaster’s excellent Dirt Rally 2.0. Unfortunately, there are no bonus games this month, and it doesn’t look like PS Plus offerings are going to change anytime soon. Still, two games is better than none, and they are at least decent games. That being said, a lot of people have already played Uncharted 4 and Dirt Rally 2.0, and they’re not letting it go quietly. Over on the official PlayStation social media channels, fans are venting their frustrations.
At least when there were four games on offer, the chances that you’ve already got them all were slimmer. Maybe Sony will revise PS Plus for the PS5, much as it did in the transition from PS3 to PS4. Though, thinking about it, we went from completely free online with an optional subscription that offered many games, to a paid-only multiplayer service and fewer games.
Oh lord help us…
