The PS Plus lineup for August 2019 has had us counting down the days until it went live ever since the titles were leaked early. Luckily for us, that wait is now over as both WipEout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4 are available to download now. So you’d better get home sharpish.
The WipEout remaster left us all swooning over its non-tarmacked beauty. But the online community had become a little quiet. This revival of sorts should see those numbers soar, and consequently, the level of competition increase. But that’s not the only benefit of having the futuristic racer included in this month’s selection.
The WipEout Omega Collection received an update last year to make the game PSVR compatible. And this patch is also available for PS Plus gamers. This means more of the community are going to be able to sample what has been dubbed the best virtual reality experience there is out there. But the question is, will they keep their stomach in check before the chequered flag?
Meanwhile, Sniper Elite 4 launched in 2017 to quite positive reviews. In fact, some consider it the best title in the series – owing to its strong storyline and expansive levels. Oh, and exploding body parts in slow motion. Obviously.
Does August’s lineup get a ‘A PS Plus’ from you?
