Axiom Verge is the work of a one-man development team, Tom Happ, that released on PS4 quite some time ago – a year, actually. It released to overwhelmingly positive reviews on PS4 but the PS Vita version remained hidden, although it had been promised as a cross-buy game.
Fast-forward a year and we’re sat here writing that the game finally has a PS Vita release date. Tom Happ took to the PlayStation Blog to explain what has taken so long to get the game out on the PS Vita and to confirm that it’s releasing on April 19th and will still be a cross-buy game. So if you bought the original on PS4, you’re able to download the PS Vita release for free. Nice!
To sweeten the deal for those who somehow missed Axiom Verge the first time around, Tom Happ has announced that both version of the game will be receiving a 10% discount on the release day of the PS Vita edition. Now that’s how you treat the players, right?
