Back 4 Blood is bringing zombie mayhem to consoles and PC when it releases later this year, but there will be the opportunity to go hands-on before the game releases with an open beta.
Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios have announced today that Back 4 Blood is getting an open beta – we’re all invited!
The announcement came after a brand new trailer was shown during the Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live! event which saw many, many new announcements for every platform.
So, when does the Back 4 Blood open beta begin? If you pre-order the game, you’ll get into the Early Access beta which runs from August 5th to August 9th. You can try and blag your way into the Early Access beta by signing up on the game’s official site, though there’s no guarantee that you’ll get into the beta. If you know in your heart of hearts that you really want to be among the first to play it, you’ll have to pre-order to guarantee you’ll be there on day one.
For everybody else, the open beta starts on August 12th and runs until August 16th, and it will be available on all platforms, so that’s PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. There will be cross-play support, too.
For an in-depth look at the game’s PvP mode, tune in to the Back 4 Blood E3 2021 PvP Showcase stream on Twitch, YouTube or Facebook where the developers will reveal the player-versus-player game mode. It’ll be worth it, I promise.
Back 4 Blood releases on October 12th, 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
