We’ve all known it was coming but Warner Bros. sure took its sweet bloody time in making it official. A couple of weeks ago we told you that the original Batman: Arkham Asylum and its follow-up, Arkham City, were being remastered for the PS4. There were a few hints with a rating here, a rating there, a product listing here, a product listing there – you get the picture.
Well, Warner has finally made the official announcement with a fancy little trailer. According to the press release received by Pure PlayStation, the two Arkham games will be remastered in the Unreal 4 engine with improved lighting, graphics – the who bang, then. They’ll also release with all the previously released DLC.
So, when does Batman: Return to Arkham release on PS4? Almost two months from now: July 29th. Ouch, that’s quite a wait, isn’t it? Still, at least there’s a trailer down below and we’re sure Warner will release more info in the coming weeks.
Looking forward to heading back into Batman’s old adventures, or were the last-gen versions enough for you? Bat-beacon in the comments section below.
