A new update for Beat Saber on PSVR has just dropped, version 1.06, and it brings a new difficulty, fixes to the game’s stats, as well as an extra graphics option.
The big news here is that there’s a new difficulty mode in the form of Expert+. Apparently some people wanted an even harder workout, so this should suit them just fine. I’ve only just started playing the game today and I’m struggling to play on Easy, so more power to those people.
There’s also a fix for the stats tracking as well as an extra option to reduce the visible debris during gameplay. According to the patch notes this should help visibility when playing on the new Expert+ difficulty mode. The full patch notes are down below.
Beat Saber PSVR Update Version 1.06 Patch Notes
We heard that some of you want even more challenging beatmaps than Expert so we just added Expert+ difficulty for you to try!
Additionally, this update comes with:
- Player settings now have option to enable reduced debris (greatly helps visibility in Expert+)
- Player stats fix. Highscore, max rank, max combo and other stats now don’t count in the Practice mode.
