Boxing games aren’t as popular as they once were but Survios’ Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions will aim for a knockout with players this autumn.
Survios and Metro Goldwyn Mayer have announced that Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions will step into the ring on September 3rd, 2021 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions is Survios’ second round with the Creed franchise after the fantastic VR-only Creed: Rise to Glory, which I thoroughly recommend if you’ve got a PSVR.
Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions follows on from the first game but opens the doors to all players as it’s a non-VR game. It’ll feature familiar faces like Rocky Balboa, Apollo Creed, Ivan Drago, Clubber Lang, and more. There’s also support for local multiplayer, so rather than going seven rounds in real life to settle on who will do the dishes, you can paste one another in Creed Champions.
Survios has been very busy as of late. The developer shipped the fantastic The Walking Dead: Onslaught last year for PSVR and other VR headsets, and the studio will have VR game releasing this year with a reimagined Bubble Bobble, as well as this non-VR boxing game.
Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions releases on September 3rd, 2021 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
