If you’re looking for a cutesy puzzle-platformer to play with your family at home, Biped should be on your radar.
The award-winning developers, NExT Studios, and META Publishing have announced today that Biped will be releasing on PS4 on April 8th, and there’s even a little trailer just for us PlayStation folk.
Biped is a physics-based puzzle-platformer where you take control of Aku and Sila, a pair of robots, and take them on a quest to keep the Earth from going dark. You’ll do this by controlling the robot’s legs with Bipeds unique control scheme. You can walk, slide, and solve puzzles by operating the robot’s legs individually. You can play alone, sure, but the game is even better with a second pair of hands helping you out as Player Two.
Innovative and simple controls. You control the robot’s two legs using two sticks. This allows you to perform various moves—from simple walking and sliding to more advanced actions, like operating machinery or cutting wood.
Two-player co-op. Enjoy the adventure solo or grab a friend or a family member and have a blast together in co-op mode. Communicate and coordinate to conquer challenges together and find out how good a pair you truly are.
Explore fun environments. Your adventure will take you to many beautiful and mysterious locations on the planet. Explore secrets in forests, valleys, waterfalls, and icy mountains and find your way through the puzzling paths that lead to the planetary beacons.
