If you’re still rocking a rusty 500GB PS4, it may soon be time to upgrade, especially if you intend to dive into Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PlayStation 4.
The back of the retail box has been pictured and it shows that players will need a minimum of 100GB of hard drive space to install and play Black Ops 4. However, it’s also worth considering that the amount of hard drive space the game will require may grow over time as updates and patches are released. So yeah, if you’re still on the 500GB hard drive, it may be worth looking at replacing the internal drive or getting your hands on an external hard drive.
Considering the game isn’t going to ship with a traditional single player story mode, it’s odd that the game will take up so much space. Maybe there’s something extra special hidden within? We’ll have to wait and see.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will release on October 12th. You can pre-order the digital version via the PlayStation Store, or grab the physical edition here via Amazon.
