Five week event full of loot and… more loot.
Loot The Universe will offer the chance to pick up legendary loot on a different planet each week, and players will be able to keep anything and everything they discover during these mini-events, but it will be up to players to discover what kind of loot drops where.
Borderlands is known for its unparalleled arsenal of weapons to choose from and each planet in the mini-event will have its own legendary weapon type to pick up. The schedule for the loot the universe mini-event is as follows:
• Pandora in Week One from August 12-19,
• Promethea in Week Two from August 19-26,
• Eden-6 in Week Three from August 26-September 2
• Nekrotafeyo in Week Four from September 2-9
Two extra mini-events are also scheduled to kick off together on September 9th and set to conclude the following week. Mayhem Made Mild will incorporate easy modifiers into Mayhem Mode and Show Me The Eridium will offer increased Eridium Drops and discounts for Eridium Items.
There’s even more planned for the second birthday of Borderlands 3 on September 13th but Gearbox is remaining tightlipped as they “don’t want to ruin the surprise”, no doubt all will be revealed closer to the time.
Borderlands 3 has gotten a vast amount of post-launch content including a much-requested crossplay feature for every platform, apart from PlayStation, unfortunately. The director’s cut expansion offered new story content and raid bosses and behind-the-scenes features. Borderlands 3 has been going strong since launch and its looks like there’s plenty of surprises still to come for all you vault hunters out there.
Borderlands 3 is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, and PC.
