Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck (boy, did I have to check the spelling on that last one) is the next DLC coming to Borderlands 3, and it will take you into even more weird places in the Borderlands universe. Taking you into the minds of one of its greatest psychos, you’ll begin to search Krieg’s mind for the location of Vaulthalla. Dr. Patricia Tannis believes knowing about this place is what makes so many of the psychos you encounter…psycho. She believes the rewards are worth the risk, so it’s time to grab your guns and enter his twisted psyche.
Krieg is dangerous in real life, but his mind isn’t exactly a magically peaceful place either. As you journey through his deranged perception of reality, you’ll see his love for Maya. Before you start ooh-ing and ahh-ing, you’ll also have to fight some of the frightening creatures his mind creates. The rewards in legendary weapons, gear, and new skins will make it worthwhile.
You can pick up the DLC as part of the season pass, but there is a free update coming the same day. The update will raise the level cap by five, topping out at 65. This is the last planned level increase for the game, and the biggest one since the launch of the game almost a year ago. There will be a new weekly mini-event through September 10th, so there are plenty of reasons to jump back into the game before the DLC launch.
Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC will be available on September 10th, but the trailer is every bit as crazy as anything in Borderlands. Check it out to know whether you’ll need to pick up that season pass, even if it’s only after it goes on sale.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
