We’re may all be stuck at home, but that doesn’t mean we can’t work up a sweat. FitXR just announced the first DLC for the PSVR boxing, rhythm, exercise game BoxVR. It’s called the “Essentials Pack”, and it’s coming first to the Oculus Quest on March 26. Unfortunately, we’re still waiting to hear about the PSVR and Steam release dates, but FitXR assures us it’s coming.
Sameer Baroova, co-founder of FitXR suggests that the content of the Essentials Pack is based on the requests of the game’s player base. This includes brand new workouts and over 60 minutes of “eclectic” music. According to the press release, there is a track for everyone, from happy house (whatever that is) to hard rock.
If you haven’t played BoxVR, I said in my review that “it’s like boxing, exercising, and playing a musical instrument all at the same time.” Check out my review here. Even without the upcoming DLC, the game has over 100 hundred songs and enough workouts to keep us all busy in these trying times.
