Bridge Constructor is branching out. After first being a simple yet enjoyable puzzle game, the series has since spawned an unlikely sequel with Bridge Constructor Portal. The sequel took the familiar Bridge Constructor formula and then mixed it up with Portal-inspired puzzles; it was also officially licensed by Valve.
Now we have Bridge Constructor Stunts coming to PS4 very soon. Headup Games has announced today that Bridge Constructor Stunts will be coming to PS4 on March 27th, and to celebrate the good news the publisher has released a brand new trailer that you can watch at the top of this article.
So, what is Bridge Constructor Stunts? It’s Bridge Constructor, but with stunts. That’s the simple way of putting it, but it’s actually a little more interesting than how we’ve made it sound. You’ll not only construct bridges and ramps, but you’ll also be in control of the vehicles as you attempt to pull off some sick stunts. Here’s a quick run down of the game’s features, via the Headup Games press release:
- Improved and simplified Construction Mode
- Build ramps and drive vehicles across them yourself
- Diverse levels with multiple objectives: reach the goals, collect stars, score target
- Delivery vans and dump trucks with cargo that wreaks havoc when coming loose
- Various building materials
- Spectacular stunts and rampages of destruction
- Let the world be part of your most outrageous jumps
Now, some of you may have noticed that this isn’t actually a new-new game. But it’s new for PS4. It was originally released back last year for Xbox One, PC, and mobile platforms, but it has yet to make its way to PS4. So, yeah, we’re calling this the three-quel.
Bridge Constructor Stunts will release on PS4 this March 27th. Be sure to check in with Pure PlayStation for our review around that time. But keep checking in on us anyway. It’s what you’re supposed to do when it’s cold out, no?
