We’ll isn’t this an unexpected turn: Sony’s latest big PSVR release, Farpoint, has sold really well in the UK since its release last week.
In the weekly charts, Farpoint places second behind Warner Bros.’ Injustice 2, quite an achievement for a game that requires a pricey headset to play.
Elsewhere in the charts Rockstar’s GTA V holds strong in 3rd position while the likes of Prey, FIFA 17, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Ghost Recon: Wildlands flesh out the top ten – so it’s business as usual, then.
Here’s hoping that publishers look at these impressive numbers before deciding to pass the emerging platform by in boardroom meetings…
We’re still working on our review for Farpoint, so pop back in later to see what Pure PlayStation makes of the sci-fi VR shooter. (Spoiler: It’s gooooood.)
