Perp Games has announced that it will be releasing Budget Cuts on PS4/PSVR on May 15th, 2020, quite some time after the game’s original PSVR announcement. The stealth action game was supposed to release sometime in 2019, but delays happen and here we are.
The game has enjoyed immense success on PCVR headsets, and has pulled in enough revenue to warrant a sequel, Budget Cuts 2: Mission Insolvency, which released late last year for PCVR headsets.
Budget Cuts is a stealth action game where you play as one of the many overworked and underpaid employees at a mega-corporation called TransCorp. Eventually, your fellow employees start to disappear, only to be replaced by robots, and it’s your job to find out what’s going on by sneaking around the office and eliminating robots with whatever weapons you can find. It’s good fun and hopefully, the conversion to PSVR will provide as smooth an experience as on PCVR.
If you’re looking to add another disc to the pile, Budget Cuts for PSVR will be getting a physical release at retail, as well as a digital release via the PlayStation Store, so you’ve got choices. Though, given what’s going on outside, maybe it’s best to order online or get the digital version…
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
