We are pretty excited about the PSVR (check out our PSVR news section here), but we have never been excited about the price. Starting September 1st, Sony announced two new bundles that should make it easier to take the plunge.
The first bundle will combine the PlayStation VR Helmet and the PlayStation Camera for $399. This adds the camera to the existing bundle for the same cost, and it will be the core bundle.
The current PlayStation VR Worlds bundle has everything in the core bundle plus two move controllers and the PlayStation VR Worlds disc for the new price of $449. That is a $50 reduction, and you can put that cash toward a game. (You can also check out 16 Free Games here.)
The new pricing does not start until September 1st, so hold onto your money for just a few more days to get the best deal.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
