Gaming isn’t a charity. It’s expensive. What if you could give money to charity and buy games at the same time? That’s the idea behind the Humble Indie PlayStation Bundle. You can get games for giving money to charity. Seems crazy? Maybe so, but it’s a crazy you can support.
There are three tiers. If you pay $1, you receive Grim Fandango: Remastered, Inner Space, and The Bard’s Tale. If you pay a penny more than the average (currently $9.32), you will receive Layers of Fear, Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut – Standard Edition, The Talos Principle, and Broken Age. The last tier is fixed at $15. If you reach that, you will receive Killing Floor 2 and Shadow Warrior 2. There are bonus soundtracks unlocked at certain prices too.
The sale runs until Feb 12th, so click here, and give those games a look. If you don’t like one of those charities, search through the 30,000 or so charities they have until you find one you like. You can even search by state, so you might find a local charity you already support.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
