Call of Duty: Zombies Getting Its Own Separate Game?

A popular Call of Duty “insider” has teased that the popular add-on mode that first appeared in Call of Duty: World at War may be getting a standalone release in the near future.

Call of Duty players have been hot and cold on Zombies recently, mainly due to the inclusion of the undead in Call of Duty: Warzone. Some are for, others are against. Zombie fans are happy, though, that there’s more zombie content, but perhaps they’ll be best served with a potential solo release for the popular mode.

According to the “insider” (everybody seems to be one these days…) Zombies won’t be a “third” game mode for long. Activision hasn’t announced anything just yet, mind you, so dig out the grit and take a hearty spoonful of sodium because there’s every chance this is just an attention-seeker looking for some more engagement on their social media. Or, it could be true as Activision looks for new ways to milk the ageing Call of Duty cash cow. Sadly, my money is on the latter. Even sadder, I’ll be there day-one with the rest of you chumps.
