This is not an April Fool’s joke, but I had to check it to be sure.
In honor of The Sinking City, the developers released a very basic extension for the Chrome browser that changes basic phrases such as Trump, Hillary, Brexit, Putin, and economy with phrases from the universe of H.P. Lovecraft. The aptly named “We are all living in a Lovecraft story” makes the changes to headlines on some very popular news sites, and, although simple, it did make me smile. It earns a thumbs up for that.
You can add it yourself by clicking here and adding it to your own browser. I’ll post some images of the title changes at the bottom of the article, but you’ll have to decide which universe or news (real or fake) is more terrifying for you. The Sinking City will give you plenty to fear when it releases on June 27th.
Press Release from Big Ben
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
