The Sims 4 is getting an expansion on July 31st. Cats & Dogs will be available for you to
torment along with the humans love. Do you have some particular pet in mind? The Create-A-Pet tool will let you customize the color and breed, and it can get pretty wild. You can paint a pet and use stencils to create patterns on your furry friend. You can even create less domesticated animals such as pandas and raccoons.
The usual level of customization is on display. Your new dog or cat can be dressed up in all kinds of different outfits. You can accessorize those fancy duds like you were a D-list celebrity. The only difference is that your parents are proud of your life and lack of a leaked video of intimate moments.
Brindleton Bay is the new area in this expansion. With places for you to play with your pets, you can always run them to the vet to keep them healthy. In a nod to realism, there is also a pet cemetery. Instead of being a place of sadness and thankfully lacking a creepy history lesson from Fred Gwynne, the pet cemetery can be a place to meet and make friends with ghost pets. The fun and friendship never has to end.
The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs will require The Sims 4 game to play, and it will be available on July 31st.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
