UPDATE: The demo is now available on the US PlayStation Store.
The time-bending Cris Tales will release a demo on the PlayStation Store today. (I say “will”, because I can’t seem to find it on the store yet.) It will give players a bit of the beginning of the game to see Crisbell’s adventure and the chance to use the ability to see the past, present, and future at the same time. You will also have a chance to face eight waves of enemies in the colosseum with the character Wilhelm.
The tribute to classic JRPGs is releasing the demo on Columbian Independence Day. The developers live in Columbia, and the game is heavily inspired by the culture. This is reflected in everything from the ideas to the character designs. Speaking of, check out the trailer for a look at some unique visual designs incorporated into the game.
If the demo gets you to open your wallet, you’ll only have to wait until November 17th to play the full version of Cris Tales.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
