Crisis VRigade, the game I was so, so, so wrong about, has received a new update today that brings an excellent new feature to the game: co-op!
The new update brings the oft-requested feature to PSVR at no cost, meaning that if you and your mate have a copy of the game on PS4, you’ll be able to team up and take on the masked bad guys together, which should help with the game’s brutally difficult levels.
Crisis VRigade is a PSVR first-person cover shooter in the style of those old Time Crisis games that used to suck the money from my pockets as a child. The game has received numerous free updates since release, including new levels as well as the usual bug fixes. The developer is currently working on a second game which is almost certain to release on PSVR or Sony’s unannounced PSVR 2 headset, which should launch sometime after the release of the PS5.
At the time of writing, there’s no release date for Crisis VRigade 2, but keep an eye out on Pure PlayStation for future updates.
