January is almost, but not quite, behind us, which means we’re obviously starting to look forward to what’s being offered as part of February’s PlayStation Plus package. Rumour had it that Crypt of the NecroDancer would be debuting on the PS4 and PS Vita as a PS Plus freebie. It’s not the most unlikely of rumours: the game’s release date does seem to coincide with when we’d expect to see February’s PS Plus goodies drop.
That said, it’s pretty unlikely, unless the game’s developer is pulling the ol’ cloak-and-dagger routine on Twitter by denying that the game will be a PS Plus freebie.
Honestly, we’re no more clued up that Bob down the road, but we’ll know soon enough when the games get announced, which should be any day now. Crypt of the NecroDancer is set to release on February 2nd for PS4 and PS Vita, so keep a few quid in your digital wallet for that one – we hear it’s the mutt’s nuts.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
