In the latest stream of Summer Game Fest, Studio MDHR announced that Cuphead will be landing on the PlayStation Store today for the PS4. The announcement was coupled with a new Cuphead trailer created by Toronto-based Stop Motion Department. On the PlayStation Blog, Chad Moldenhauer Co-Director of Studio MDHR goes into integrate details of how Stop Motion Department approached the new animated trailer and went to such lengths as using “C Mount” lenses, alongside not using the assistance of computers for the movements of the puppets to truly capture the 1930’s era vibe and aesthetics. On the Summer Game Fest stream, it was also confirmed that the upcoming Delicious Last Course DLC will also launch on the PS4 on the same day as other platforms.
