Delays are as common as microtransactions these days, but thankfully Curved Space has not been delayed for too long.
Maximum Games has announced today that its upcoming space-based shoot-em-up Curved Space has been delayed. It’s not terrible, though, as the delay is less than two weeks, which is better than months or years. The original release was planned for June 18th but now the game will release on June 29th for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch version will release on July 13th and it’ll get a physical edition on that day, too.
Delays happen all the time but I think I’m right in saying that this is possible one of the shortest delays for a full release, so no harm done, right?
Curved Space is an intense arcade-style twin-stick shooter that takes the classic formula and plunges it into the weirdest reaches of space. Battle cosmic space-invading spiders across curved landscapes where bullets hug the terrain while the horizon drops sharply out of sight. Take on battles of cosmic proportions in the Campaign Mode, become the best in the galaxy by rising to the top of the Leaderboards, or last as long as your ship can stand it in Endless Mode, and so much more.
Inspired by arcade classics, players will have to hunt for weapon power-ups and upgrades while dodging enemy fire, blasting interdimensional bugs, and wrangling some enormous boss monsters.
