Winning awards such as ‘Best Gameplay’ and ‘Grand Prize’ in the Oculus and Indiecade VR Jam, Darknet is looking to make its PSVR debut sometime early this year. In it you’ll find yourself in dark corners of cyberspace with a ton of networks and nodes ready to be hacked. Darknet has also been tailored for the PlayStation VR with several new improvements such as: full audio integration with the Dualshock 4 controller, art enhancements, a retooled user interface, and the addition of trophies.
“The best part about a collaborative effort between passionate developers is the osmosis of knowledge and skills that inevitably takes place,” Renee Klint, Community Manager at Archiact, wrote in a recent PlayStation blog. “Now that Archiact is charging full-force into our biggest year yet, we loved the chance to work closely with E and his indie ethos. The end result is a fresh take on a classic, with subtle yet impactful improvements—we know you’ll love it!”
Darknet’s official release date will surely be revealed soon as the PSVR version is listed for an early 2017 release. The price however, is known and will cost $14.99 for PS4 owners.
