[Update: It looks like this deal was the result of a pricing error on Argos’ part. The price has now gone up to £69.99. Bummer.]
Activision announced the big news a couple of months ago that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare would be releasing later this year. It was something of a double-whammy announcement as the publisher also confirmed the long-standing rumour of a Modern Warfare remaster, too.
The catch is that if you want to get your hands on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, you need to pre-order the expensive version of Infinite Warfare which runs for around £80. Bit sly, isn’t it, locking a much loved game behind what could be a poor one.
However, UK retail chain Argos is offering the complete package for a mere £39.99 – half the usual cost, effectively making each game in the package under £20. Not a bad deal, then.
