Death Road to Canada must have been enjoyed by more than just me, because a physical edition is coming this year. Pre-orders for the zombie survival game with a great sense of humor will open on Playasia on March 21st. For $34.99 USD, the Limited Edition will come with a region free copy of the game, a manual, two CD soundtrack, an numbered collector’s certificate, and a collector’s box. I think a manual may be the most surprising part of the package.
I really enjoyed Death Road to Canada last year, and, every time I died, I couldn’t wait to jump back into another game. To give you a better idea of what it is, I will quote from the official description:
“Control a car full of jerks as they explore cities, recruit weird people, rescue dogs, argue, and face gigantic swarms of slow zombies. Randomly generated for a new story and rare events every time you play!”
I thought the visuals didn’t look like much at first, but the game’s charm and addictive gameplay won me over very quickly. You can read my review here, or you can watch the video at the top of the page to see if you should add the physical version of this gem to your collection sometime in the second quarter of this year.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
