Yes, the humble PS Vita is still managing to get new releases here in the year of 2020. Amazing, isn’t it? For the hardcore PS Vita players, it is no doubt welcome news that CowCat Games will be releasing Demon’s Tier+ tomorrow, June 9th.
The game itself has been around since last year when it originally released on PC. This new release for consoles, including the mighty handheld PS Vita, is an improvement over the original release with lots of tweaks to the gameplay, graphics, performance, and lots more. It’s basically a remaster, as the developer states.
Demon’s Tier+ is a twin-stick shooting heavily inspired by the classic arcade coin guzzler, Gauntlet. So what do you get for your money? An epic story, 2 player local co-op (not available on PS Vita,) eight playable characters with different abilities, procedurally generated dungeons, lots of trophies including a platinum gong, and four languages.
The original release was well received by fans, and I’ve no doubt this re-release for consoles will do well, too. So if you’re looking for a new retro adventure to play on your PS Vita, keep an eye out for Demon’s Tier+ when it releases on the PlayStation Store tomorrow.
