The extended Persona universe will expand by two games this year, and you can give each a try. There are separate demos for Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight on the PSN right now. Each one offers you four songs for your favorite characters to cut a rug.
The trailer is not very long, but you can watch them strut their stuff in their ultra-stylish worlds. It’s also a good chance to hear an example of a remixed track. With 25 tracks per game, it’s going to be interesting to hear how creative they can be with the themes.
Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight will release on December 4th. There is an Endless Night Collection that will give you both games, an art book, extra characters and songs, and a free download of Persona 4: Dancing All Night for about $99 (USD) if you want it all. It’s the only way to have Persona 4: Dancing All Night on the PS4, and I will repeat that it shouldn’t be.
If you are thinking about getting one or both, check out the demos. If nothing else, maybe it will help you to wait for a few more years until the next Persona (or new Atlus RPG) is finally released.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
