Codemasters has released a brand new update for its awesome new racing game, DIRT 5, ahead of its November 6th release date, though the game is available now for those who pre-ordered the Amplified Edition if the game, which grants three days early access.
The new update, version 1.03, is out now on PS4 and it’s a hefty 6.2GB download. But what does it do? Great question, I’d love to be able to tell you, but unfortunately, the update went live in the middle of the night and it looks like Codemasters has been caught sleeping.
The patch notes on PS4 direct players to the Codemasters forums where the developers will share what each new update does. The only problem is, on this occasion there has been no new post, so we’re left with no clue as to what has changed.
Codemasters is based in the UK, so at the time of the patch going live, it was already the middle of the night; the little code masters were most likely tucked up in bed, dreaming their sweet little racing dreams. They’ve earned it, mind you, because DIRT 5 is an exceptionally fun racer and it really does feel like a little slice of next-gen delivered early.
