DIRT 5 Releasing October on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and Current-Gen Consoles

Codemasters has unveiled its next-gen plans with the upcoming release of DIRT 5 being announced for PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, current-gen consoles, and later, Google’s Stadia platform.

DIRT 5’s global journey will see players race across the most thrilling, exotic, and picturesque settings around the world, including New York City, Greece, Chine, and more.

Surprisingly, Codemasters has managed to rope in Nolan North and Troy Baker to do some audio work on the game as the duo act as the mentor for players in Career mode, as well as being the in-game presenters for the in-game DIRT podcast series. Talk about meta…

“As a studio, we are big fans of DiRT 2 and 3. This game is our homage: a bigger, amplified DIRT off-road experience in a setting that is alive, challenging and fun,” said Robert Karp, DIRT 5 development director at Codemasters. “Whether you want to compete against the AI on some of the world’s most challenging environments or play a four-player split-screen game with your friends, DIRT 5 has you covered.”
There’s no release date as of yet, but the game will release this October. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer up above.
