Codemaster’s Dirt Rally is getting a cheeky little update that’ll allow players to really get stuck into the mud with their PSVR headsets.
The publisher/developer confirmed it a while back, but there’s still no set release date for the PSVR update. Not yet, anyway, though Codemasters’ Christina McGrath has let slip on Twitter that it may be available this coming weekend, though it’s still not 100% confirmed.
Elsewhere, the official Codemasters Twitter has given us a sneak peek at what the new retail box for Dirt Rally will look like, complete with the ghastly ‘PSVR Compatible’ strip at the top of the box. Seriously, Sony, is there no other way? We digress… So you’ll soon be able to get a PSVR-ready copy of Dirt Rally, and if you already own the game then you’ll likely be getting the paid update this weekend.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
