Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part One Teased; Full Trailer on August 27th
If you’ve been wanting to step into the Doom Slayer’s shoes again, Bethesda dropped a new teaser trailer for the first campaign expansion. The Ancient Gods, Part One looks like more of the same, and I mean that in the best way. Along with the tried and true killing demons, new locations are shown. The location over the water looks like the place Stormtroopers were cloned, but the trailer is too brief to see much.
The end of the teaser shows a full trailer will be revealed on August 27th at Opening Night Live as part of Gamescom’s all-digital show. The time is currently scheduled for 2:00 PM ET.
Doom Eternal is awesome, and it’s 50% off on the PlayStation Store if you waited for a discount. If you loved the game (review), it’s not hard to get excited to plunge back into more singleplayer content. If you purchased the Deluxe Editon of the game or the Year One Pass (year one?), you’ll receive the extra content whenever it launches.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
