Double Dragon IV Announced for PlayStation 4

Old school Billy and Jimmy Lee fans will soon be able to relive the glory days of the Double Dragon franchise. The fourth installment (minus the American produced ones) is currently in the works by Arc System Works Co. and will be available for the PS4 on January 29th. Gamers will be happy to know that key members involved with the 1987 arcade version have returned for Double Dragon IV. To name a few: Yoshihisa Kishimoto, Koji Ogata, and Kazunaka Yamane.

This time the brothers have taken their battle to Japan with all the glorious side-scrolling beat-’em-up action. Offline co-op will also return in an 80’s blend. The title will also retain the T rating the series has come to be known for. The Double Dragon series was originally developed by Technos Japan and started as a coin operated arcade experience.
