Days Gone is getting a lot of love post launch from developers Bend Studio. But in addition to the numerous free challenges that have been added in recent weeks, Deacon is now getting a gift of his own – Uncharted 4 themed bike skins. Because nothing screams Sony exclusive more than another exclusive making an appearance.
That means Nathan Drake and Deacon Lee St John are crossing paths, albeit in an abstract, not sharing the same stage sort of way. But wouldn’t that be a game to shout home about – A Thief’s End… at the hands of an undead horde; doesn’t really have a ring to it, but you get the gist.
In total, three Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End inspired skins will be added to the library. And they are quite the eye turner as they haven’t simply been made to look like marketing tools – Uncharted flags, box art and the like. Instead they look just like any other custom spray job a bike owner may splurge on.
They’re available in the game now, so go and enjoy a ride with your “new” wheels. Meanwhile, we’ll await news about further collaborations – this is yet to be confirmed, but surely we’re not the only one who can see the potential? Overcooked meets The Last of Us would be particularly interesting, if you ask us.
Take a look at the images below and tell us what you think (we’ll be cruising around with Sam’s Bike). Does Days Gone meet Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End work, let alone make sense? And, to commemorate this crossover, which other duo would you like to share their existence? Pull a wheelie in the comments box below.
