Aw, isn’t that lovely, eh? Media Molecule will be spreading the love on February 14th, 2020, when Dreams finally releases on PS4, six years after its initial announcement, and quite some time after its early access release.
The game has been in early access for a while now, and those who bought into the early access version of the game got it at a reduced price. The full release will be fully-priced, though if you are an early access player you’ll be upgraded to the full release at no extra charge.
Unfortunately, the early access version of the game is no longer available to purchase on the PlayStation Store, so if you skipped out on getting in early, you’ll just have to wait for the full release next year. It’s not too long away, mind you, and it’ll give you plenty of time to get a head start by watching some tutorial videos on YouTube. Which reminds me; I really do need to play the game’s tutorials… I’ve had the game since early access began, but I have the patience of a toddler, so I’ve never been able to get through more than ten minutes of instructional material without getting bored.
I’m sure that once PSVR support has been added to Dreams, I’ll be more inclined to sit and learn the intricacies. Until then… Nope.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
