Sony has passed through a new update for the Windows PC version of the PS Now application that now allows you to use your DualShock 3 controllers with full functionality.
Previously, you had to use the PS4’s DualShock 4 controller to play games via PS Now, but it’s now possible to use your DualShock 3. What’s more is that for games with SixAxis motion support, you’ll be able to use your DualShock 3 as you would have done on your PlayStation 3. Neat beans, no?
We’ve been testing it out and it works a charm, however, it does seem to only work with a wired connection between the controller and the PC being used with PS Now. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it is a wee bit annoying.
