Dying Light is Getting Another Story Mode

Techland is taking post-release support to ridiculous levels with yet another content update for Dying Light, a game that originally released in 2015 – six years ago.

Techland has announced today that Dying Light’s Hellraid DLC is expanding further with a free content update that brings an all-new Story Mode to the expansion, new areas to explore, new weapons to fight the undead with, as well as some technical enhancements and visual improvements.

The new update overhauls the game’s lighting system and adds new sound effects to enhance the already creepy atmosphere. There are also improvements to animations, improved minimap functionality, improved inventory management, and much more.

Story Mode brings a new narrative that sends players on a deep and dirty adventure into the demon-infested Ba’al’s Temple to rescue a powerful mage called Lucius. The new mode includes three new quests and locations as well as the first ranged weapon in the Hellraid expansion – a powerful bow – and a new heavyweight weapon, the Two-Handed Hammer.
