The sheer quality of some of Sony’s offerings during its E3 press conference had us wondering whether we’d actually seen the PS4 Neo in action, despite Sony saying the Neo wouldn’t be at this year’s E3.
Turns out that our thoughts were misplaced as Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed on Twitter that everything shown during the presser was running on the regular PS4.
Replying to a question on Twitter as to whether any games were being run on the PS4 Neo, Yoshida stated “everything is on a standard PS4.” Well, that solves that, then.
Still, it’s hard not to imagine that Sony would be eager to show off what the PS4 Neo can do, so perhaps we’ll see the thing in action at Paris Games week or Gamescom.
